#1 – If you have not done so already, please let us know you are attending by responding to the invite emailed to you.
There will be a limit of 50 scouts and adults
#2 – Download permission slip here. Fill out, email or bring to Friday night and give to Mr. Giammarco.
No one goes without a filled out permission slip.
#3 – Pay ($10/per person)
Any Bikes that you can not transport yourself should be dropped off at the Gadsby Residence
516 W. Davis Blvd.
on Thursday the 12th between 7-7:30pm
Departing Hyde Park United Methodist parking lot, Friday May 13th
Roll call at 5:45pm, departure at 6:00 PM.
Returning to parking lot on Sunday May 15th at approx. 12:30 p.m. Scouts should contact parents as we approach.
Water is available on site. Showering via outdoor spigot.
Saturday: 50 & 15 mile bike rides
For those not riding, there will be skills instruction including how to properly filter water
and possible Merit Badge Instruction (Geocaching, Canoeing, Backpacking, Camping)
Cast Iron Cooking opportunities
Travel in Class B, Class A for Flag ceremonies and Sunday Morning Services

Fort Cooper State Park 3100 S. Old Floral City Rd. Inverness, FL 34450
From Fort Cooper State Park – you go east on Old Floral City Rd. to Fort Cooper Rd. (the first road to the right past Fort Cooper State Park) Turn right on Fort Cooper Rd. and go about 200 yards. You will see a galvanized gate on the right and the Invasive Plant Management building (a double-wide). The gate will be closed but not locked. Once you enter, be sure and close the gate behind you and follow the signs to the camping area.
