Santa Fe Canoe and Campout 2012
Santa Fe is our troops canoeing camp out. All scouts are invited and encouraged to come. The scouts that attended canoed 10 miles the first day, and about 8 miles the second day. The scouts went to two springs to swim in. The springs were one of the trips highlights. The water was very cold but the scenery was beautiful. The purpose of this camp out was to get the new scouts canoeing, to complete the canoeing merit badge, and to have a great time. Once you get to the campsite there is a wooden platform for you to jump off of into the clear water. It is a great camp out for scouts to attend.
